Greek mythology is popular literature for many people. That is one of the reasons why many people are inspired to dress up as one of the heavenly deities. Yet, while the Greeks shared written descriptions about their gods and goddesses, most people are still unaware of their untold mystery. If someone would wish to dress like the Greek goddesses, then it would be reasonable enough to read more about them. If ever these elemental goddesses are present in this earth, they would necessitate someone to get to know them further prior to depicting their persona.

There are several Greek gods and goddesses. The most famous are called Olympians since they reside on this mountain called Olympus. There were 12 of them, and six are accounted as Greek goddesses known from the names of Aphrodite, Artemis, Athena, Demeter, Here, and Hestia. Read more.....

COSTUME DESIGN- Uriel

Interesting post on Egyptian Costume Design. Still in the works:

I find the Egyptian stuff a little more innate, which is perfect for expressing The Dominion’s authority in Hermina. You’ll notice I drew Uriel wearing a gold head piece, this is meant to reflect both a crown and a halo. In past drawings I’ve coloured in some of the feather’s of the character’s wings to match their hair.

It's becoming very natural for me now to visualize the Greek and Egyptian costumes against the almost Gothic backdrop. It's odd how such different styles can fit together so well. I think in the near future I'll throw something together ...
